ANGE Postecoglou today revealed that Kyogo Furuhashi could make his comeback from injury after the international break next month and his Celtic team mate David Turnbull might be ready to return to action in the next two weeks.

Postecoglou’s team suffered a setback in the Scottish title race today when they were held to a 0-0 draw by Hibernian in a cinch Premiership match at Easter Road.

They moved four points clear ahead of Rangers in the top flight table – but their city rivals can move to within a point of them if they beat Motherwell at Ibrox this afternoon.

The Parkhead club were lacking a cutting edge in the final third in Leith and could have done with having striker Furuhashi and playmaker Turnbull on the park.

But Postecoglou, who is hoping that Giorgios Giakoumakis will have recovered from injury in time to feature against St Mirren on Wednesday, is positive the Japan and Scotland internationalists will be available soon.

Asked when Celtic fans could expect to see the injured duo back involved, he said: “Turnbull will hopefully be the next couple of weeks, Kyogo probably after the international break.

“We’re letting the guys go through their rehab and allow them to make sure they feel right about coming back. They’ll be back soon enough.”

Asked about Giakoumakis, Postecoglou said: “He should be okay. We are hoping he will be okay for Wednesday. It is just an illness and he wasn’t right for today. With a bit of luck he should be okay for Wednesday.

“Jacko wasn’t going to make us play any better than we did today. We played well enough we just weren’t able to score a goal.”
