KENNY MILLER will be in charge of the Falkirk first team for the club's final three games of the season after head coach Martin Rennie announced his intention to return to the United States.
The former Scotland internationalist was appointed as Rennie's assistant when the manager took charge back in December.
The pair attempted to salvage Falkirk's season but a fifth-placed finish is the best the League One club can hope for after missing out on the promotion play-offs for the second year running.
A statement released by the Falkirk board read: "Martin joined us in challenging circumstances last December, and we’d like to thank him for stabilising results and for all his hard work in trying to turn around what has been a very difficult season for everyone involved with the club.

"Kenny Miller will lead the team for the final three matches of this season, while Martin continues to support the board in planning for next season and beyond.
"The process of recruiting a new manager has already begun and we hope to be able to announce an appointment as soon as possible."
Miller has previous coaching experience, having briefly led Livingston in 2018 a well as serving as an assistant manager in Australia at Newcastle Jets and Western Sydney Wanderers.
