CELTIC target Mohanad Jeahze last night refused to rule out a summer transfer move from Hammarby.

The left-back, 25, was quizzed on reported Celtic interest yesterday and while remaining coy on the Glasgow links, didn't shut down a move.

Iraq internationalist Jeahze is out of contract in December 2023, and a Scottish Sun report claimed Hammarby would allow him to move should they receive an acceptable offer.

Following the transfer speculation, Jeaze was asked about a possible move to Parkhead to challenge Greg Taylor in the full-back position.

As quoted by the Scottish Sun, he responded: “I can’t say much about that."

But added: “I’ve always been very clear.

If I am going to leave Hammarby it will be for something better than Hammarby.

"I love it here in Hammarby.”

Jeahze was then asked about the similarity's between Hammarby and Celtic's shirts, he joked: “Yes, it’s green and white!”

It's reported Celtic would have to fork out around £2million to sign Jeahze in the summer.
