CONNOR GOLDSON has hinted that his Rangers career is over with an end-of-season social media message.

The defender is out of contract in the coming weeks having spent four years at Ibrox.

The Englishman is a target for several teams south of the border, with Nottingham Forest believed to have a strong interest in the dominant centre-half.

He lifted the Scottish Cup trophy with Rangers last weekend, in what appears to have been his final game in a Light Blues jersey.

Fans had been holding out hope that the ex-Brighton ace would pen a new contract extension despite his current deal running down.

However, despite being one of the first names on the team sheet for several years, it looks increasingly likely Goldson will be moving on to pastures new.

And the player himself has dropped another hint suggesting so.

He posted on Instagram: "60 game season full of highs and lows and ending it with silverware. Days and nights that will stay with me forever."

Accompanying his message, Goldson shared some celebratory photos from the club's Scottish Cup triumph, as well as pics of the heartbreak he and his Rangers teammates suffered in the Europa League final days earlier.
