RANGERS have had an improved transfer bid for Antonio Colak rejected, according to reports.

It was claimed Rangers had upped their offer for the striker to £2million plus add-ons.

However, it's now reported that PAOK have booted out the offer and are standing firm for a £2.5m fee.

Greek journalist for Sportime Giannis Chorianopoulos claims: "Rangers have had a new bid rejected by PAOK for Antonio Čolak.

"According to many reports new offer was at €2,3m. plus add onns. (sic)

"PAOK demands €3m."

It's believed that the Ibrox club want to sign the 28-year-old to bolster their attacking options ahead of the new season.

Colak hit a double against Rangers last August to knock Rangers out of the Champions League qualifiers during a loan spell with Malmo.
