Borussia Dortmund and Juventus are reportedly interested in signing former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, according to reports.

The 25-year-old is in the final year of his Lyon contract and can leave for free next summer - meaning the Hoops would miss out on a sell-on clause - but the Ligue 1 side are now looking to offload him this summer if he doesn't sign an extension.

Premier League side Southampton were previously linked with the forward who could be available for just £10million, almost half the fee Lyon paid for him in 2018.

Dembele excelled in Scotland, taking home six medals as Celtic won all domestic trophies available to them during the Frenchman’s two-year spell at Parkhead.

He featured 94 times for the Hoops in all competitions, scoring 51 goals.

And according to French outlet FootMercato, Dembele is on the transfer radar of European giants Borussia Dortmund and Juventus.

They report that “several teams" have an interest in him this summer. Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray have been credited with scope to sign him next year, once he is free, while Dortmund tested the water this summer over a potential move before opting for Sébastien Haller.

Dembele has also been linked with a move to Spain, where several clubs reportedly want to pick him up for free, and he was on Juventus's transfer shopping list, but the Old Lady have recently turned their attention to Memphis Depay, whose departure could be facilitated by Barcelona in the coming days.

Lyon have made the forward a proposal to extend his contract. However, Dembele has yet to respond and is reportedly weighing up his options.
