St Johnstone have announced an open meeting with supporters will take place later this month after fans boycotted their recent Scottish Cup defeat to Rangers.
Just 400 Saints fans watched on as their team were knocked out of the competition after a board decision meant visiting supporters were housed in three of McDiarmid Park's four stands.
Prices for the match were set at £30 for adults and £20 for concessions, which further added to home support frustration.
Now St Johnstone are aiming to improve supporter engagement and will do so via the way of an open meeting with fans at the stadium.
The official discussion will take place in the Centenary Suite at McDiarmid Park on Monday February 13 at 7pm.
A statement explained: "The meeting is open to all fans of St Johnstone FC. It is envisaged that it will be the first of regular events where Club staff will be present, but these meetings will be primarily driven by a supporters’ ‘steering group’.
"No registration is required to attend the meeting - which will include a Q&A session with Club staff - and anyone with additional support needs who wishes to attend should contact dao@perthsaints.co.uk or call 01738 459090 (Option 1)."
Head of Operations, Ian Flaherty, said: “It had been our intention to launch this sort of forum at the beginning of next season, but I believe, given recent events the right thing to do is bring the forum forward. We look forward to welcoming fans to McDiarmid Park a week on Monday.
“It is important that we improve communication with our fanbase and provide better transparency to supporters. I believe that these meetings will prove very worthwhile as we strive to achieve this. The topics discussed from these meetings will be made available to all fans via the normal club channels shortly after each event.”
