Kilmarnock have unveiled their new away jersey for the 2023/24 campaign.
And in a fresh twist to football kits, the top is Chemistry-inspired.
With a nod to Sir Alexander Fleming, the kit is heavily influenced by penicillin.
The renowned scientist studied in the town and founded the medicine in 1928.
The red jersey carries the form of penicillin's chemical construct, the pattern used to identify the composition of a chemical substance.
The construct of the world's first antibiotic can be seen with a 'cyber blue pattern' over the main body of the kit.
Killie have also committed to donating a percentage of all jersey sales to local charity partner the Crosshouse Children’s Fund, which supports the treatment of babies, children, and young adults across Ayrshire.
In addition, the design will be used as a tool to educate pupils, with the Killie Community team preparing to share Fleming’s story as part of their programmes in schools across Ayrshire.
Gregg McEwan, the club's General Manager, said: “Kilmarnock is a town with an illustrious history of nurturing world-renowned talent. As a club, we’re proud to have the platform to showcase our community’s incredible contribution to modern society.

“The story behind this season’s away kit will allow us to continue inspiring the next generation as part of our ongoing engagement with school pupils, in addition to evolving the relationship with valued charity partners.
"Ultimately, it will support our strive to ensure youngsters across the region are proud of both their community and local football club.”
The kit will go on sale tomorrow on Friday, July 14 at 10am online and at the Killie Store.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
