Rangers have confirmed their Europa League squad for the 2024/25 competition.
And there are two big names left out of the 21-man squad selected by boss Philippe Clement.
Clubs can submit squads of up to 25 players for UEFA club competitions, providing that eight are club and country-trained.
Liam Kelly, Kevin Budinauckas, Connor Barron and John Souttar are the only four who fall under that category for Rangers, and they can't name four players over the age of 21 for this.
So, in a shock move, this means that £6m striker Danilo and winger Rabbi Matondo have had to miss out.
The latter picked up a hamstring injury in the 3-0 defeat at Celtic Park at the weekend, while the former has struggled to get back into the side because of Cyriel Dessers' form since his return to fitness following long-term injury.
It has since emerged that he's undergone a second operation on his knee, and will be out for around a month.
They'll be limited to games in the Scottish Premiership and other domestic games only this season following their omission from the Europa League squad.
Ianis Hagi is also not included, albeit that's no surprise given the Romanian has been frozen out at Ibrox.
Leon King, Bailey Rice and Alex Lowry are all on the B-team list.

Midfielders: Óscar Cortés, Connor Barron, Mohamed Diomande, Nedim Bajrami, Kieran Dowell, Nicolas Raskin.
Forwards: Cyriel Dessers, Tom Lawrence, Vaclav Cerny, Hamza Igamane.

'Strange' Hagi & Clement dynamic down to 'commercial matter'
Meanwhile, Vaclav Cerny has admitted they were 'outclassed' by Celtic in the Old Firm derby.
The on loan Wolfsburg winger was a starter for Philippe Clement's side on Sunday, but made little impact in the match as the Hoops cruised to a 3-0 win.
Cerny is currently preparing for his nation's Nations League games with the Czech Republic facing Georgie and Ukraine in their group.
And he admitted he was taken aback by the passion of his first Old Firm encounter and had no complaints about the outcome.
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
