CELTIC midfielder Eboue Kouassi has joined Belgian side KRC Genk on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old, who last made an appearance for the Scottish champions in Ocotber 2018, passed a medical at the end of last week and has been officially unveiled by Genk.

The Belgian club have an option to buy Kouassi at the end of his loan spell, should it be successful.

The Ivorian midfielder signed for Celtic for around £3million in 2017 but has found game-time hard to come by at Parkhead, making just 22 appearances in all competitions for the club since joining.
