Billy Gilmour has been recognised for his stunning breakthrough season at Chelsea, by being named among the world’s best teenage talents.
Ex-Rangers kid Gilmour has shone in the Stamford Bridge midfield under the leadership of Blues legend Frank Lampard.
The 18-year-old burst onto the scene playing nine times including two man of the match standout showings against Liverpool and Everton respectively.

And his top performances have been recognised after being named in Goal’s 2020 men’s NxGn list.
Previous winners include the likes of Jadon Sancho and Gianluigi Donnarumma and the list is put together by journalists from around the world who vote for the most exciting players born on or after January 1, 2001.
Real Madrid winger Rodrygo won the men’s award, while SGS Essen midfielder Lena Oberdorf scooped the women’s crown. Gilmour placed at 33 on the list.

Manchester United ace Mason Greenwood was pipped at the top by Rodrygo and after receiving his award, he said: "I think this award motivates me a lot, gives me a lot of confidence."
Arsenal youngster Gabriel Martinelli and Liverpool starlet Harvey Elliot also placed on the list.
We told earlier this month how Gilmour showed off his juggling skils with a loo roll as part of the viral isolation challenge.

The Scotland Under-21 internationalist could be seen doing keepy-ups before firing the toilet paper at the camera with an impressive scissor kick.
Gilmour has been praised by the likes of Ian Wright, Alan Shearer and Roy Keane in recent times and was at the centre of a Scotland argument. Some fans and pundits advocated for the youngster to get a full call-up from manager Steve Clarke while others claimed it was too early for the midfielder.
He was, indeed, eventually called up for Scot Gemmill's under-21s side before football shutdown due to the coronavirus.
