Cedric Itten got his first goals for Rangers in Sunday's win over Motherwell
RANGERS defeated Motherwell in emphatic fashion on Sunday afternoon at Fir Park, running out comfortable 5-1 winners over Stephen Robinson's men.
Ibrox captain James Tavernier got two from the spot, Jordan Jones opened his account for the season and summer signing Cedric Itten is also up and running after grabbing a brace of his own.
A George Edmundson own goal a few minutes from the time was the only consolation for the Steelmen, who will now be looking ahead to Friday's game against Kilmarnock as an opportunity to bounce back.
