Czech Republic will use the Oriam training facility at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh for the duration of EURO2020 after choosing the nearby suburb of Currie as their base for the finals.
The £33m National Performance Centre offers a full-size indoor replica of the Hampden Park pitch where Jaroslav Silhavy's men will play two group games at this summer's finals.
The Czechs opted to base themselves in Edinburgh following two fact-finding trips to Scotland last year and were impressed by the peaceful surroundings and state-of-the-art facilities.
Libor Sionko, the Czech national team general manager, who played for Rangers in Scotland said: "I know Scotland well because of my time with Glasgow Rangers. The Oriam Sporting Centre will offer everything that we need. We will have perfect conditions in Edinburgh.”
The facility's proximity to Glasgow and the fact that the Marriot Courtyard Hotel is situated just a two-minute walk from the training ground were also of significant appeal to the Czechs.
