FORMER Rangers winger Neil McCann insists the Ibrox outfit will eventually "cash in" on Alfredo Morelos after hailing the Colombian as the complete striker.

Returning from a two-game ban, Morelos took his tally for the season to 27 with four goals in last night's 5-0 Scottish Cup thrashing of Kilmarnock.

Former Dundee manager McCann is among the 22-year-old’s admirers and expects the international forward to earn Rangers a handsome transfer fee.

He said: “Without being disrespectful to Rangers, they’ll cash in on this guy because a lot of teams will be looking at his goal-scoring exploits.

“When he’s alone and operating with two wide men, he really enjoys it. He enjoys dropping off and he’s so powerful – you can never take your eyes off him as he has some leap.

“His all round ground ability and strength is exceptional and that’s why he needs to sort his temperament out, if he can just channel it in the right way.”
