LEITCH — PATRICIA. Pat, Author of Children’s books died peacefully, on Tuesday, 28th July 2015 at Woodside Care Home, Quarrier’s Village. Pat was 82 years and lovingly cared for by the staff. She was much loved by her many friends and will be missed by her next of kin, Maureen Russell. Funeral service to which all friends are respectfully invited at Greenock Crematorium on Tuesday, 4th August at 11am, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving in St Fillan’s Episcopal Church, Moss Road, Kilmacolm at 12 noon. Pat loved all animals and donations, if desired, for Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue in North Ayrshire.

Thinking of Patricia's family and friends and wishing them a joyful celebration of her life their sadness. She reached so many of us with her wonderful stories -those of us with chestnut Arab mares feel a special resonance. A truly great writer creating worlds we all yearned for; she will be much missed - ride free on Shantih Patricia -wishing you an eternal dream of fair horses. xxx
