CARRICK — VERA. Peacefully, at home in Monifieth, surrounded by her loved ones, on Wednesday, 30th September, 2015. Vera Carrick (nee Simpson), in her 97th year, formerly of Bearsden. Much loved and loving mother of Jamie, Linda, Moya and Vivien, cherished granny of Jim, Vince, Katriona, Fiona, Sarah, Hayley and Gavin, delighted great-gran of Jesiah and Anneliese. Funeral service in Monifieth Parish Church, Panmure Building, on Monday, 12th October at 1.15pm, thereafter in Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim, at 2.30pm. All family and friends are respectfully invited. At Vera’s own request, no flowers please but, if you wish, donations for the British Red Cross Society or the British Heart Foundation.
