Terminator Genisys (12A)
Lamentable new instalment in the sci-fi series, which steals elements of all four previous films without taking the story or the concept anywhere new. The ageing Arnold Schwarzenegger's reprise as the cyborg who has segued from killer to protector is actually the most satisfying element, adding a modicum of humour and class. But the writing, directing and acting around him is poor. Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones is badly miscast.

Second outing for Channing Tatum and the male strippers with discomfortingly well-defined pecs.
That Sugar Film (12A)
Unlike Super Size Me, whose exposure of the fast food business was shocking but hardly surprising, this documentary considers the sugar we consume through supposedly "healthy foods". Some viewers may feel they have to go back to square one.
Still The Water (15)
Young love, family complications and a touch of Zen, in this drama set on a Japanese island.
