Frozen (U)

Frozen (U)

Inspired by The Snow Queen fairy tale, Disney's Oscar-bothering animated adventure stars Idina Menzel as Elsa, a Queen with magical powers, and Kristen Bell as her younger sister Anna, Princess of Arendelle. Like all sisters, Anna and Elsa fight but, like all Disney films, there's a happy outcome to it all. The film took home the Oscar for Best Song, for Let It Go - a snub for Pharrell Williams's all-conquering Happy.

Wake In Fright (18)

Long hailed as the "lost film" of Australian cinema - it was only in 2009 that the negatives were re-discovered - and eulogised by Nick Cave among others, Ted Kotcheff's story of a young teacher who winds up in a deeply scary outback town is here given a high-profile re-release in a dual format edition by Eureka! as part of its Masters Of Cinema collection.

Line Of Duty: Complete Series One And Two (15)

Although everyone seemed to be talking about it, series two of Jed Mercurio's police corruption drama still only pulled in three million viewers, so there are plenty who haven't thrilled to what could prove a career-defining role for Keeley Hawes as under-suspicion cop Lindsay Denton. And why not catch up on/revisit series one as well? Not a bad idea, given the return in series two of characters like Matthew "Dot" Cottan (the great Craig Parkinson) and, playing well against type, Neil Morrissey, as creepy cop Nigel Morton.

White Of The Eye (18)

Edinburgh-born director Donald Cammell never quite fulfilled the promise he showed in his 1968 film Performance, co-directed with Nic Roeg, but his slim output retains a cult following and this re-release by Arrow Films of his bloody 1987 serial killer flick is more than welcome. David Keith and Cathy Moriarty star as an Arizona couple who find themselves under suspicion when a series of young women go missing. The soundtrack is by Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason and Rick Fenn, guitarist with 10CC.
