AT precisely 13:13pm today, tickets go on sale for a very special edition of Edinburgh's increasingly expansive spoken-word night, Neu! Reekie! Taking place at the Central Hall on Lothian Road (a venue the Beatles once played, trivia fans), the event will combine words and music with a bill which the Herald can exclusively reveal will be headlined by legendary producer and DJ Andrew Weatherall (pictured). Also in the line-up will be Mercury Music Prize winners Young Fathers, who end their UK tour with a homecoming gig, while the show also marks the return of Edinburgh's pioneering electronic troupe, Fini Tribe. Two high-profile spoken-word artists are still to be announced for what Neu! Reekie! supremos Michael Pedersen and Kevin Williamson are already describing as the show of the year. Tickets and full details of the event, which takes place on Tuesday June 9, will be available on the Summerhall website.
