The programme of chamber music includes the Minguet Quartet with pianist Roy Howat on Friday evening, pianist Leon McCawley in recital on Saturday at 1pm and Howat teaming up with violinist Peter Sheppard Skaerved and cellist Neil Heyde from 2pm. On Saturday from 7.30pm, the National Youth Choir of Scotland under Christopher Bell are at St John's Kirk with a programme that includes Requiem. Sunday sees mezzo Ailish Tynan singing Faure, Duparc and Poulenc with Alisdair Hogarth at the piano and Howat and Emily Kilpartrick playing piano duets. The concluding concert on Sunday is by the Navarra String Quartet and Hogarth with tenor Andrew Kennedy and includes Vaughan-Williams's On Wenlock Edge.
