International angle to project for young stars

MUSICIANS from China, Chile and the Balkans will join Edinburgh's Tinderbox Orchestra for its Journey Of A Thousand Wings performance at the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh on Saturday.

An experimental musical outlet for people under 25, the Tinderbox project brings together performers from a wide range of styles to create original compositions and collaborate with musicians who might inspire and involve them in the wider contemporary arts scene in Edinburgh and beyond.

Saturday's concert will feature the full orchestra, bands, choir, live visuals, storytelling and special guests including singer Yuzhe Song from Beijing folk-rock band Dawanggang and Chilean folk group Ensamble Transatlantico de Folk Chileno.
