Voting opens for Alternative Music Awards

Voting opens for Alternative Music Awards

VOTING for the Scottish Alternative Music Awards has opened.

The awards, in their fifth year, can be voted for through the official website, where the public can have their chance to say who they would like to win in each of the categories: Best Rock/Alternative, Best Metal, Best Acoustic, Best Electronic, Best Live Act, Best Newcomer and Best Hip Hop.

They will have until February 27 to cast their votes before results are announced at the hell-raising ceremony on March 7 at Glasgow's The Garage nightclub.

Winning artists are offered gifts such as digital distribution through EmuBands, discounted offerings at Red Dog Music, and studio time from Gorbals Sound Recording Studio.
