Expert tuition on hand at summer jazz school

East of Scotland Jazz Education has launched a new summer jazz course under the direction of Richard Michael, the long-time director of Fife Youth Jazz Orchestra and the Fife Summer Jazz Course.

Building on the success of the Fife course over more than 30 years, the Richard Michael Jazz Summer Course will offer high quality tuition to singers and players of all instruments from all levels and ages.

The course is from Sunday July 6 to Thursday July 10 at Kilgraston School just outside Bridge of Earn near Perth, and other tutors include Mario Caribe (double bass, electric bass and guitar), Kevin Ferris (trumpet), Euan Stevenson (piano and keyboard) and Tom Gordon (drums).
