Aberdeen promoters Jazz at the Blue Lamp's 2015 programme begins on Thursday January 22 with Aberdeen Jazz Orchestra presenting big band sounds of the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s.
Also set to appear at the venue in Gallowgate are London-based trumpeter Laura Jurd's sextet, Glasgow-born guitarist Jim Mullen's trio, madcap adventurers Trio AAB, trombonist Tom Green's sextet, and Norwegian double bass legend Arild Andersen's trio featuring saxophonist Tommy Smith.
