Billy Connolly has left a lasting impression on Glasgow's SSE Hydro thanks to the venue's latest art project.
"Glasgow Celebrates the Living", a quote from the Glaswegian comedy legend has been recreated in neon lights above the main stage door entrance to the £125m arena.
The new sign, which is the latest permanent installation at the venue, is one of a series of Scottish and Glasgow themed artworks that have been installed at the Hydro. The artworks are designed to show artists and visitors to the venue the city's personality and enhance their experience.
Sean Murray, head of marketing, said: "We were delighted that Billy was able to come along to see our latest installation at the SSE Hydro.
"The context of Billy's quote is about highlighting to the major international talent who play the venue that Glasgow loves live events and live music and as a performer you are going to have a great night".
