In the second of our new series, Axis of Awesome tell us about their Fringe show, craziest on stage experience and what makes them laugh.

Tell us about your Fringe show

It's three human males singing humorous songs and funny melodies for an hour, some of these are older songs, some are newer. All are grand.

Best thing about the Fringe?

The cheap accommodation and sunny conditions.

Worst thing about the Fringe?

That old man with the knife.

How many years have you been coming to the Fringe?

This will be our 6th year.

Favourite Fringe venue?

We have a soft spot for the Sportsmans Room in the Gilded Balloon, where we did our first ever show. The entire backstage was taken up with another acts props, so the only place to sit was in plain view of the entering audience. Good times!

Best Fringe memory?

Winning the award for "Sexiest Men in Scotland" a few years ago. And that was the year the Chippendales were performing!

Best heckle?

"Oh you're too sexy my eyes have exploded"

Craziest on stage experience?

Performing our song about Game of Thrones, and having Jack Gleeson, aka Joffrey from Game of Thrones, come out on stage during it.

What's on your rider?

A "Mystery Box of Fun" and a hand-drawn picture of Homer Simpson.

How do you wind down after a show?

We usually go out and burn down a few libraries, shoot some guns at the sky and then just smoke a big bag of kush.

What do you love about Scotland?

The conciseness of the Scots - for example, they don't waste any letters when spelling things like "Irn Bru".

What do you like about Edinburgh?

All the waterskiing.

What's the most Scottish thing you've done?

I bought my brother a Kilt Towel one year. That was pretty darned Scottish.

What kind of jokes do a Scottish crowd seem to respond to?

Anything with a wicked guitar solo that goes for 5 minutes or more.

Favourite joke?

The guitar solo from November Rain by Guns n Roses.
