THE Modern Institute in Glasgow has new exhibitions featuring the work of Katja Strunz and Tom Fairs. The Katja Strunz exhibition, entitled Dynamic Fatigue Test, features deconstructed clocks. Tom Fairs' installations and pencil drawings are shown alongside.

Teaming up
GLASGOW'S Telfer Gallery in Glasgow is this week part of the official programme for the Merchant City Festival. Its project, Exchange, is a collaborative effort with Test Space in Leeds. It involves artists Andrew Corlett and Jonny Packham from Leeds joining Alan Cameron and Rae Duncan in Glasgow to work together to produce an installation of new work.

EDINBURGH Printmakers' exhibition for Edinburgh Art Festival is called Cheer Up! It's not the end of the world...
The exhibition presents the work of several international artists who have explored ideas about the end of the world, apocalypse and finality. Prints and other media by artists including Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol and Jake and Dinos Chapman are featured.
