Pixar's Scottish-set animation comes to DVD. Featuring a who's who of Caledonian talent – principally Robbie Coltrane, Billy Connolly, Kelly Macdonald and Kevin McKidd – it tells the story of feisty princess Merida (Macdonald), the archery-loving daughter of King Fergus (Connolly) and his wife Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). Trouble comes to the kingdom, however, when an ill-advised trip to a witch turns Elinor into a bear. And King Fergus has a thing about bears -

Comedy from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane starring Mark Wahlberg as John, a man whose teddy bear came to life as the result of a childhood wish and refuses to leave his side. With a scenario like that, the laughs kind of take care of themselves. Mila Kunis and Giovanni Ribisi also feature, with MacFarlane himself voicing John's furry drinking buddy and Patrick Stewart narrating.

Southern Comfort (15)

Walter Hill's cult 1981 film about National Guard members under attack from Cajun hunters in the Louisiana swamps comes to Blu-Ray for the first time. Seen in its day as a metaphor for Vietnam – it's set in 1973 – it actually adheres more closely to the plot of Hill's previous film, low-budget gang flick The Warriors. Keith Carradine and Powers Boothe star and the soundtrack is by Ry Cooder.

Harry Hill's Cream Of TV Burp (PG)

A Best Of re-packaging of classic cuts from Hill's long-running ITV series, eked out by 20 minutes or so of extras. Among these are previously unseen-footage and the obligatory blooper reel of outtakes and cock-ups. A little pricey at £19.99 for a total of 87 minutes, but if you're a fan, you're a fan. And Christmas is coming -
