Club Morsecode sends message on new acts
Club Morsecode is a new showcase for up-and-coming (and sometimes more established) artists at King Tut's, Glasgow, curated by Brendan Moon of Morsecode Management.
Entry is free and gigs take place in the bar area in a cabaret seating style, with each act playing two or three songs each.
Gigs will be on Mondays through the summer and the next one is on June 23 and will be compered by Dante Gizzi, of Gun.
Island Records Student Music Competition winner Stephanie Fraser is joined on the bill by Billy Jeffrey Jnr, Scott McWatt, Jemma-Kate, Cara Mitchell and Anthony Moore.

Music acts help big week of fun
Beyond the clash of Armed Forces Day and the Bannockburn celebrations, there is plenty of music going on in Stirling the weekend after next at the Tolbooth and Albert Halls.
Piper Allan MacDonald's commission for the occasion, Bruce 700, premiered in the halls on June 26, is followed in the same venue on June 29 by septet Fiddler's Bid.
In the Tolbooth there are performances by Glasgow's Hamish Stuart, of Average White Band fame, on June 27 and saxophonist Laura Macdonald on June 30. She is playing a new piece commissioned as part of the 2014 Cultural Programme and performed by her International Sextet.
