Benedict Cumberbatch gave comic book shoppers a surprise when he popped in dressed as Dr Strange.
The Sherlock star is playing the comic book character in the upcoming Marvel movie and has been busy shooting scenes in New York.
During a break in filming the actor stopped by JHU Comic Books unannounced, and in his full get up.

So, the Doctor just came in for a quick visit …
Manager Rene Rosa told the New York Daily News: “He said he came to specifically to see us since it would be ridiculous not to visit a comic book store because he was filming nearby.”
The superhero movie is due out later this year and also stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mads Mikkelsen and Tilda Swinton.
