Dick and Dom's new show, Dick v Dom, is on at Underbelly, Bristo Square - McEwan Hall, from August 1 -12.

  • Tell us about your Fringe show

It’s called Dick v Dom and takes the shape of a boxing match with a referee and six rounds of ridiculous interactive games in a true Dick&Dom style! For all ages 5-105.

  • How does it feel to be playing the Fringe for the first time?

Dom performed at the Fringe at 15 with the NYMT. But to do it now as a double act is very exciting. It’s something we’ve always talked about doing, it’s only taken us 22 years to get here!

  • Why did you decide to perform at the Fringe?

We did a national tour of the show last year that went really well, so this feels like the crescendo!

  • If you were not a performer what would you be doing?

Sitting. Yes…that’s sitting!

  • How do you prepare for a performance?

Rich likes to come in early, check everything, go through everything, then check everything again. I turn up as the curtains are lifting.

  • Best/worst advice you’ve been given ahead of your debut show?

Don’t die.

Dick lives there.

  • What’s the most Scottish thing you’ve done?

Live there.

  • Favorite Scottish food/drink?

Square sausage.

  • Sum up your show in three words

Dick and Dom.
