Lily Bevan discusses the most Scottish thing she's done and looks forward to her first time at the Fringe.

Tell us about your Fringe show

My show is an avian adventure about a falconer losing her falcon.

How does it feel to be playing the Fringe for the first time?

It's my first time solo, and it feels delightful and minority terrifying.

Best live act seen at Fringe?

Ross Noble in about a 30 seat room ages ago.

Best thing about the Fringe?

Rum at 4pm watching a play.

Worst thing about the Fringe?

When you feel kind of like you have mixamatosis.

If you were not a performer/comedian what would you be doing?

Spy. I tried to apply for MI6.

What do your family think of your show?

My dad has been 5 times. I hope he likes it.

How do you combat pre-gig nerves?

I do a bit of yoga and I jump up and down.

Worst on stage experience?

Offstage in the wings an actor put a lit candle up his bum to try to make me laugh.

How do you recover from a hefty heckle? Do you have a set of stock replies?

I don't know yet. I'm new to comedy heckling. I will smile a lot.

What do you love about Scotland?

Castles and strong stones and high hills.

What do you like about Edinburgh?

Surprise.

What’s the most Scottish thing you’ve done?

A whisky tour & then passing out in a corridor after the whisky tour

Who’s your favourite Scottish comedian?

Billy Connolly and Danny Bhoy.

Favourite joke?

How do you tell the difference between a weasel and a stoat? A weasel is weasel recognised and a stoat is stoatally different.
