The Rock made his wrestling comeback on Monday night and it was everything everyone hoped for.
Wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson found time in his schedule for a return to WWE Raw, bringing out his Wrestlemania alter-ego in all his egotistical glory.
As he pulled up in his mega-truck, he destroyed professional wrestler The Miz, throwing him his keys and saying: “Hey, do me a favour and park The Rock’s truck.”
The People’s Champion managed to make Big Show sob by suggesting he could have had a successful film career in his place, and then made things awkward with Lana (CJ Perry) by bringing up a night they spent together.
After plenty of skits and a lot of spiel, he announced: “Finally The Rock has come back … home.”
Fans were delighted.
I don't follow wrestling but was the rock helping out them other fellas I like last night?

With films including Baywatch and Fast 8 in the pipeline, The Rock is keeping incredibly busy.
He posted: “345am wake/14hr work day. Still ballin’.. (thank God for good lighting ;)”
One fan was delighted to welcome him back – even if she knew he would only leave her again…
I feel like The Rock’s is like that one bf/gf that you keep taking back no matter what.

Like when he leaves to go back to doing movies you’re like, “Fine, go! We didn’t need you anyway! Enjoy your life in Hollywood!” The Rock.
— Jas فتور (@BeingJasmeen) January 26, 2016
Then he comes back and it’s like, “I’ve missed you so freaking much! Never leave me again! This is where you belong!” The Rock 💕

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
