FAMILY-owned Scotch whisky distiller William Grant & Sons has appointed Behdad Shahsavari as a non-executive director following the retirement of Javier Ferran.
Mr Behdad is a partner with PWC Strategy&, formerly Booz & Co, and leads its European consumer and retail practice. He also heads its European digital practice.
Grant's, which distills Glenfiddich and The Balvenie, said the Amsterdam-based executive brings 20 years' experience to the board.
This includes a particular focus on food and beverage firms and family-owned businesses.
