ALLIANCE Trust has warned uncertainty over Greece and China will affect equity markets for “some time to come” as it unveiled a “disappointing” half-year performance.

The Dundee investment group, headed by Katherine Garrett-Cox, said it had provided a total shareholder return of 2.7 per cent in the period and a net asset value of 1.4 per cent.

The company faced an investor revolt over its performance earlier in the year and has now confirmed it will announce changes in autumn to further allay those concerns.
