SCOTLAND Food & Drink has appointed Rachel Ross of Oban's Loch Melfort Hotel and Keith Whyte of Inverurie food retailer Mitchells to its board.

Ms Ross brings experience in food logistics and hospitality to the role, as well as time spent working in foodservice for Sodexo UK. Mr Whyte, a partner of family-run Mitchells, offers has a broad range of experience, including and a background in agricultural management.

David Kilshaw, chairman of the Scotland Food & Drink board, said: “I welcome the appointment of Rachel and Keith to the Board at an exciting time in our industry’s development.
