Glenturret single malt whiskies are to be distributed in Europe by Glasgow-based blender and bottler Douglas Laing.

Until recently, most of the single malt whisky produced at the Glenturret Distillery was destined for blending in The Famous Grouse but the Edrington-owned Crieff-based distiller launched three new single malts in November and it is this new range of sherry, triple wood and peated editions that Douglas Laing will distribute across Europe.

Laing’s commercial director Chris Leggat said: “We are delighted to get our creative hands onto The Glenturret brand. Scotland’s oldest distillery produces a wonderful malt whisky and we will give this brand the attention it so rightly deserves.”
