IOMART, the Glasgow-based internet services firm headed by chief executive Angus MacSween, said its public cloud specialist SystemsUp had secured partnership status with Amazon’s web services division.
“It puts us among the top echelons of companies with a very high level of expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) – into the Premier League if you like,” explained Iomart PR manager Jane Robertson.
“AWS has a partner network of companies across the globe who work with them to help customers understand [AWS’s] suite of tools, which can be complex.”
Ms Robertson said SystemsUp, the company Iomart bought last year, had now become an advanced consulting partner, which is one for the top two tiers of partners.
