Data science graduates who stay in Scotland rather than head South are attracted by the job market and lifestyle, according to research ahead of a Data Talent Scotland event in Edinburgh today. Only seven per cent of students were motivated by salary, with most coveting roles that had an interesting data science challenge, a good work life balance, and support through training. The event aimed at showcasing Scotland’s data science potential is staged by The Data Lab with MBN Solutions and WeAreTheFuture, and will feature contributions from Deloitte, RBS, TSB Bank,NHS Scotland, Mallzee and Aridhia.
