A couple who are keen motorcyclists are bringing people from the UK and beyond to Argyll through their off-road biking company.
Clive and Donna Rumbold established MotoScotland in 2013 after they spotted a gap in the market and they realised they could combine their love of riding with running their own business.
The couple from Dumfries & Galloway moved to Inveraray and with support from Argyll and Bute's Business Gateway service, and are now taking bookings from people from across the UK and internationally.
In June they won a prestigious Scottish EDGE award resulting in a prize of £50,000 to use towards developing the business further.
Clive said: "We are over the moon at the award and the money will go a long way in helping us to achieve our growth aims. The response so far has been excellent. Not only are we performing to our targets but we have a 100% customer satisfaction score which is just fantastic. We offer various packages from novice level and upwards with each package tailored to the individual or group, which allows us to ensure that every one of our customers is properly looked after according to their ability and needs.
"Donna worked in customer service focussed businesses and I was in training and recruitment but we felt it was time to do something that focused on what we really love. We are both big riding enthusiasts and we love off-road riding. We wanted to offer our customers something special which is why we moved to Inveraray and based our business here. The landscape and scenery in the area is stunning and on our trails you pass mountains, Loch Fyne, reservoirs, wind farms, castles as well as wildlife including eagles, wild deer and seals, so it really is a fantastic experience."
With plans to expand and continue to develop MotoScotland, Clive and Donna have been working with Business Gateway in various areas.
Clive added: "We've had great support from Business Gateway who have helped us with different areas including our business plan, social media and website development. We have been thinking of the future and possible options at our disposal and so we have accessed information on local graduate schemes and potential funding avenues."
Donald Melville, Business Adviser, Business Gateway said: "Clive and Donna have established an impressive business that has stemmed from their own passion of riding and winning an EDGE award is fantastic.
MotoScotland offers something different to people and visitors to the area and we have been assisting them as they embark on a growth strategy."

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
