Goals to score with new venues

GOALS Soccer Centres has signalled it is on track to accelerate the roll-out of new venues after raising around £11.4 million in a placing in March.

Chairman Keith Edelman told its annual general meeting that the company has since acquired a centre in Newcastle and is on course to add one more by the end of the year.

He noted that Goals plans to expand its estate further by adding three centres next year, including a site in the US, by the end of 2015.
