Inspiring City awards open

The second Inspiring City Awards, organised by The Herald and Glasgow Chamber of Commerce in association with award-winning city brand People Make Glasgow, are open for entries.

These awards will recognise the remarkable people and businesses which consistently go the extra mile to ensure Glas-gow continues to flourish.

Award sponsor Stephen Flynn, Vice Chairman of Glasgow Taxis Ltd, said: "The Inspiring City Awards are a fantastic way of not only recognising but also rewarding those individuals and organisations that go above and beyond to support and encourage investment and growth in Glasgow.

"Their contributions are tremendously important to the city and we're extremely pleased to be supporting this year's awards."

Entry is free and nominations can be made online via the dedicated event site: www.herald-events.com/inspiringcity
