Luggage firm looks for growth

UPMARKET luggage maker Lat56 wants to recruit new staff to improve its digital marketing operations.

The company, which has just moved its headquarters from Glasgow to Dundee, sees much of its future growth coming from online channels. Around 60% of sales come from outside the UK, with founder Kevin Fox keen to continue expanding e-commerce activities as margins are better than selling through retailers.

Mr Fox said the business, founded in 2007, sold around 5000 bags last year.
