Publisher sees rise in profits

CONSUMER and academic publisher Bloomsbury said underlying profits rose 4% to £13 million in the year to February 28.

Revenues lifted 11% to £109.5 million, with major best sellers including Khaled Hosseini's And the Mountains Echoed and Samantha Shannon's The Bone Season. Digital revenues contributed 12.1% of all title sales.
