THE Saltire Foundation has launched a recruitment drive for its latest fellowship programme.

It is inviting ambitious Scots to join its Saltire Fellows scheme, a course which combines theory and practice with access to leading entrepreneurs.

Past fellows include Entrepreneurial Spark founder Jim Duffy, Taragenyx chief executive Iain McDougall, Joanne Hagerty, chief operating officer of Innova Partnerships, and Steve Tigar, former group managing director of Lettingweb.

Susan Urquhart, chief operating officer of the Saltire Foundation, said: "We have had remarkable individuals join the fellowship programme in the past and we want to make sure that once again we have a healthy cohort of Fellows for this very unique opportunity."

This year's fellows will spend 13 weeks at Babson College in Boston, renowned for its teaching programmes for entrepreneurs. They will undertake two projects and have the opportunity to work at Massachusetts Institute of Technology or in California's Silicon Valley.

Delegates will also spend a week in Shanghai, learning from entrepreneurs operating in China and a residential week at the Royal Bank of Scotland Business School in Edinburgh.
