Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) has backed the management buy-out of London based digital retail business Tryzens for an undisclosed sum.

Tryzens, which also has offices in Bulgaria and India, has clients such as Dunelm Mill, Tesco, Timberland, Waitrose and Austin Reed.

The e-commerce specialist was owned by AIM-listed Jaywing.

Andrew Davison, a partner at SEP, will join the board of Tryzens and said: "We have been impressed with the technical innovation, in-depth business knowledge and creative vision of the management team."
