TESCO non-executive director Ken Hanna is stepping down after six years on the board.

Mr Hanna, chairman of the audit committee of the supermarket and who also has roles at Aggreko and Inchcape, will leave following the company's annual general meeting in June. Fellow non-executive Stuart Chambers is also exiting.

Mr Hanna will be succeeded on the audit committee by Byron Gote, a former BP executive, who joined Tesco earlier this month.

Since its profit overstatement last year Tesco has revamped its senior ranks with a new chairman, chief executive and finance director along with a number of non-executive changes.
