OFFSHORE logistics specialist Peterson aims to help Maersk Oil save money on its North Sea operations amid the crude price plunge after winning a contract to support the oil and gas firm in the area. Peterson has won what is described as a significant logistics contract to provide services such as warehousing and crew changes for Maersk Oil’s North Sea assets. The value of the five year contract was not disclosed. Peterson director Murdo MacIver said the firm is well positioned to provide innovative solutions to optimise efficiency, safety and service across the assets at a challenging time for the sector.
