EUAN Sutherland, the Scot who runs designer clothing retailer SuperGroup, has taken home a pay package worth nearly £1.7 million, writes Scott Wright.
The former Co-operative Group chief executive received emoluments of £1,677,125 for the year ended April 30, according to the latest annual report from the owner of the SuperDry brand.
The package included a base salary of £675,000 and an annual bonus of £860,625.
Mr Sutherland took home a package worth £602,862 for the year ended April 25, 23015, having become SuperGroup chief executive in October 2014. That included a salary of £355,645 and a bonus worth £177,822.
SuperGroup reported a 16.3 per cent rise in underlying pre-tax profits to £73.5m last month, highlighting a boost brought by its collaboration with actor Idris Elba.
