Insolvency rates increase

THE number of Scottish companies becoming insolvent or entering into receivership has increased by almost 24% in the third quarter of 2013/14 compared with the same quarter last year.

But the third quarter figure was down 14.6% on the previous quarter, figures from Accountant in Bankruptcy have shown.
